The door to the arena has opened. The temperature here is definitely cooler. A maze of walls spring up before you. Their smooth dark surface is trimmed in an alien glow. You find a place to hide in the dark, fog filled arena to begin your game. The voice booms a count down to start. “FIVE” Your heart starts to pound. “FOUR” Your adrenaline begins to pump.”THREE” You look around for other players. “TWO” Are they on your team or not? “ONE” You’ll find out soon enough…

“BEGIN!” 

The arena itself springs to life! Pulse pounding music shakes the very fog surrounding you. Your skin electrifies with excitement. You grip your laser handles as your vest and laser come alive with lights and sounds. One of the players you saw hiding earlier is not on your team, and they know it. A flash of laser light streaks through the air whizzing past you harmlessly. You turn to the other teams player and grin as you whisper to them.

“Welcome to the Zone.”

Welcome Gamers! Looks like you have accessed the database for the arena inventory.  Well done! Below are the various items and obstacles you will encounter in the arena. Some, my own special design

Walls

Across the Galaxy a battle has been waging for control of the stars themselves. An ancient alien race has been charged to train and seek out the best of the best of every planet. You, along with your team must stand toe to toe with fellow Earthers in a game designed to hone your skills and bring your team together as one. Enter the arena and become part of the Alliance!

Designed for 2-4 teams (red, blue, green, yellow) players are randomly assigned team colors upon entering the arena. The objective is to obtain as many points as possible with in a 15 minute game. The team with the most points at the end of the round is the winner.

10 points and 1 credit are awarded when you zap a player on the opposing team. Collect credits then seek out one of the G.E.M.s scattered through out the arena’s upper and lower levels. Once you have obtained enough credits you can upgrade your system at any of the G.E.M.s in the arena.

Ramps

It’s everyone for themselves! Designed by smugglers and scoundrels from across the known galaxy in order to hone to a fine edge their ability to survive in the wilds of deep space and be able to stand on their own with any species in the galaxy. It has proven the most intriguing an most rewarding of designs. The empty expanse of space can be lonely but the crowded streets of the cities on any of the planets can be dangerous. Smugglers make few friends in their trade. Enter this game at your own risque for everyone in this arena holds allegiance to one player and one player only, THEMSELVES!

Only one will exit this arena as the best. Will that be you? Designed for any number of players, a Solo game can run with as little as 2 players up to a full house. All players in the arena are battling for first place. The player with the most points at the end of the run, wins. Players get points by tagging other players and buying power-ups at G.E.M.s. Collect credits then seek out one of the G.E.M.s scattered through out the arena’s upper and lower levels. Once you have obtained enough credits you can upgrade your system at any of the G.E.M.s in the arena.

Barrels

In the wake of a devastating virus outbreak the world has been split. Two types of humans now inhabit the Earth: the living and the living dead. While the living desperately search for the cure, they are all to often backed into a corner by those that are infected. You have entered the Arena under the guise of a game but in fact, you have been lured here. You and your friends enter the dark, fog filled arena to begin your game. The voice booms a count down to start. “FIVE” Your heart starts to pound. “FOUR” Your adrenaline begins to pump.”THREE” What you failed to notice was one of your party had been infected. “TWO” There is one zombie among you. “ONE” At the moment…..

Designed for small to large groups, all players in the game start out Green
and one player, chosen randomly by the computer, is red. When a red player tags a green, he/she becomes infected by the zombie virus & joins the red team in the hunt for green players. The last survivor gets 100 bonus points and becomes the first infected for the next round, and all team colors switch. Keep the zombies from turning you by zapping them first. Players get points and credits by tagging players on the opposing side and buying power-ups at G.E.M.s. Collect credits then seek out one of the G.E.M.s scattered through out the arena’s upper and lower levels. Once you have obtained enough credits you can upgrade your system at any of the G.E.M.s in the arena.

Towers

The galactic war has been raging in the stars for many millennia. All your life you were told the other side was evil and your side was fighting for good. The trouble with a conflict so old no one remembers the reason the fighting started or exactly who is fighting for good or against it. Enter the arena where your team goes to battle for what they think is right. and leave on the team you have chosen to be right. Who is on your side? And who, is the Renegade?

Designed for 2-4 teams (red, blue, green, yellow) players are randomly assigned team colors upon entering the arena.The objective is to obtain as many points as possible with in a 15 minute game. The team with the most points at the end of the round is the winner.

This game is very similar to the Teams game mode, but 4 of the G.E.M.s used in game are colored (red, blue, green or yellow).When a player tags, or purchases,one of these G.E.M.s they will switch to that team color.

Headquarters

There is a special substance deep below the surface here. A crystalline cavern that holds the key to fueling your ships for interstellar travel. Your base is in place. All systems are online and broadcast signals have begun to be sent to your home world. Your people will soon be here. Something however, is wrong. The signal is week, something else is interfering with the broadcast. Movement has been detected, you are not alone. Your scouting party returns with news that another species has also set up base in the same area. Your mortal enemies. In order to upload your broadcast the other base must be shut down. Send your attack force but beware, for they know you are here as well. And they plan to do the same to you.

Designed for 2 teams (red and blue), players are randomly assigned team colors upon entering the arena.
The objective is to obtain as many points as possible with in a 15 minute game while locking down and protecting your base from enemy attack. The team with the most points at the end of the round is the winner. You must guard yours, while attacking the opposing teams G.E.M.s located on the underneath side of each of the two dome headquarters. When attacking the opposite teams headquarters 1 player must tag the G.E.M. wait 7 seconds then tag it a second time. If done correctly the G.E.M. will explode and the communications array will be off line for 30 seconds. The player that deactivated the headquarters will get 100 points. Players also get points and credits by tagging the opposite teams players and buying power-ups at G.E.M.s. Collect credits then seek out one of the G.E.M.s scattered through out the arena’s upper and lower levels. Once you have obtained enough credits you can upgrade your system at any of the G.E.M.s in the arena.
